8 Insane Sleepers You Do Not Want to Race

2/8/2021

The most talked about aspect of sleeper cars is the fact that unlike Bugattis, Lamborghinis and other flashy cars, Sleepers are satisfying when it comes to offering great performance without attracting so much attention. These cars are the perfect proof that looks do not necessarily define the quality of a machine. A lot has been said about their very mundane style that makes them even hard to recognize in a parking lot. Now, this is definitely not the kind of car to go for if you love driving a car that attracts everyone’s attention. It is however, the type of car you would love if you are the kind of driver who derives satisfaction in having a car that seems slower but can actually overpower many expensive looking cars.
Sleepers are known for their relatively low cost of upkeep and prices. They do not get as much attention as rides with higher profile but once the true discovery of what lies underneath the less attractive look is made, many car lovers will definitely prefer them. Believe me when I tell you that these are the cars for all those who get it right when it comes to the essence of the real meaning of being crazy about cars; I am talking about real car enthusiasts.
I am looking for the best word to describe the look on someone’s face when they unexpectedly lose a speed contest to a car that they considered slow by just looking at it; of course it is a very natural conclusion. I definitely need your help describing that surprised, jaw-dropping expression that an all-confident contestant gets after having been beaten hands down- it can be very embarrassing especially if you had publicly registered your overconfidence. This is the reason why the ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover” expression works for car racers.
In the same spirit of talking about not judging by looks, sleepers are the craziest example one can ever use. Here is a carefully compiled list of 8 insane sleepers that you definitely do not want to race;
  • BOBA Motoring’s 1200HP MK2 VW GOLF
  • SR20 DET LADA 2104 400 WHP
  • ROTARY Powered SUZUKI Minivan
  • RB25 Powered NISSAN PATROL
  • Boosted Single Cam HONDA CIVIC
  • RWD Converted, SR20 Powered HONDA CIVIC Hatchback
  • 2JZ Swapped VOLVO 242
  • 100 HP AUDI S2
Now you know and if you really are looking for a crazy racing car, you should probably consider one of these
Find out how to get cars like this super cheap!

OUTRAGEOUS REASONS COPS STOP JDM CARSAND WHAT TO DO WHEN IT HAPPENS TO YOU.

2/8/2021

For a real car enthusiast, driving a highly modified vehicle is the in thing. In fact, the more the modifications, the more the fun. JDM car owners just adore their brand. They want to have the cars with most latest modifications. This is not just for show off (of course this is a good reason too) but they consider it classy and the best way to fit in. Who wouldn’t want to have the car that everybody else is talking about with so much excitement and using owe-inspired words to describe? It is the sense of prestige derived from driving what everyone all over the world would want to own.
Sadly, some people somewhere are all about depriving JDM car owners and drivers the privilege to drive their high class machines in peace. They just won’t stop picking on them from time to time for all the wrong reasons. Those who have had such experiences tell the stories and even if you own no such car, you feel for them. These great enemies of our highly esteemed motor owners are the traffic officers. These cops have been termed by the victims of their unscrupulous behavior as rude, uncultured among many other unpleasant words. I do not know exactly what you think but I feel that they definitely have the right to feel this way about the cops. Their reaction is justified, if you ask me.
Of course we all have heard of the rules and regulations for what is legal and what is illegal. We also know about the black market and grey market where the grey one refers to cars that were not made within but have been purchase through the normally acceptable ways and the black referring to the illegal ones. There is (NHTSA) The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which works under DOT – the Department of Transportation whose role in this is to set the standard features for every car. Then there is the well-known EPA- the Environmental Protection Agency which is responsible for dictating emission regulations your car has to meet.
However much JDM owners do not like these regulations, the fact that one is driving around without fear means that their car is not illegal. They say that they have no problem with being rightfully pulled over or arrested but being wrongfully picked on does not go down well with them. Being pulled over for absurd reasons such as obstruction of view because of OEM trunk spoiler; sometimes because your car is apparently too low; your car has no model or make emblems. Some even feel that they are being targeted because of the car they are driving. For sure nobody likes being pulled over so many times for visual inspections, repeated measurement of headlights from ground and tint checks.
What is more annoying for our JDM owners is the fact that someone with a different car model can pass without being questioned then you get pulled over for an exhaust check! They feel that they have had enough of this and they feel like it is high time that it came to an end. Nobody is insane enough to drive an incredibly expensive car that has not been legalized.
In case you find yourself pulled over for these and any other reasons, do not be rude to the officers. Do as they ask you to and do not obstruct them. If there is at all nothing wrong you were doing, they will only waste some of your time doing their unnecessary checks and then let you go.

JDM CULTURE. - What is it?  Lets Define it the Shaddowryderz way!

In full this is the Japanese Domestic Market. Every car enthusiast has either heard of or been on this site. Japan is known by car lovers for vehicles that are performance enhanced. The market is all about showcasing different models and makes of cars which according to them have a clean and simple feel and look .This is what the fans and maybe fanatics of JDM are all about. The Japanese manufacturers know just way too well what their followers and admirers want and they do everything within their possibility to find out what the rare parts to add to their builds that will give it the feel of a true and classy import.
JDM is not a new thing at all; this has been going on for years now and has moved towards North America and many others, in fact, all countries. Their work is said to involve modification while strictly maintaining the initial or original physical aspects of their vehicles. They always have intended to keep the vehicles as true to their origins as possible. Save for Canada and the US, most countries import the cars directly from Japan. In the two exceptional countries, you will find that a lot of the parts have been changed or that they are missing from the original Japanese counterpart. This is due to a lot of makes being manufactured within the countries to meet and suit the needs of the North American regulations.
There are specifications for the JDM inspiration, they are very specific about what they are about and just to quote them,” We are not about Big cromed out rims and obnoxious body kits!” .They believe in the passion that people have for cars whether as a hobby or a way of life but to them, it is a matter of a lifestyle that they all love and embrace despite it being majorly based on simple modification and competition.
The culture appreciates both those who build show cars that are less functional with a V.I.P look and those who build more functional track/race cars. It also has a place for fast fun cars that are built for toying around with. It is all part of the growing car culture which JDM embraces.
Some people love JDM and appreciate their car culture and their presentation of the developing lifestyle; a few however, feel like things are being overdone a little. Of course it is acceptable to have an opinion. They feel like things have gotten a little ridiculous .They point out how they think it not bright for the Honda having racing bucket seats that have harnesses. Others find it dumb to put JDM dolls and stickers on vehicles. They suggest that JDM should stop the ‘stupidity’ of a competition involving who can put many brand name JDM on their vehicles. That they should go back to the initial idea which involved USDM vehicles to the JDM spec. The JDM car enthusiasts however keep defending their culture by pointing out that it is all about fun, culture and lifestyle; which is what JDM is all about.
