If you are looking for a car and you are on a budget, then you might seriously want to consider an auction. And not just any type of auction, but a government auction. These have a reputation of having a wide variety of cars of different makes and models with incredible offers on their prices. Government auctions will give you the chance to get a well-maintained car at a very low cost-the absolute win! Then there’s the advantage of having listings that are available in all states, this means that you have higher chances of finding the car model that you are interested in. Needless to mention, government auctions are straightforward; as long as you have done your research, and you know the date and place of auction, all you need to do is show up with your bidding money. There is no headache of having to deal with money-hungry salespersons that will try to sell you what you don’t want.

How do you participate in a government auction?

The United States has two incredible platforms for auctions. There’s Gov-auctions.org and governmentauctions.org. I know what you’re thinking, isn’t this the same thing? No, these two are different sites and I am going to help you decide which one you should try, based on your needs. I will simply compare the two sites without being biased.
Gov-Auctions .org
Gov-auctions.org provides a regularly updated database of car auctions in every State. It has over 4,000 listings of both government and public auctions. You can easily get all the information on auctions across the country on the site. You can save as much as 95% of the car’s book value from the auctions on this site. It is a reliable internet resource that provides listings with warranty. The cars on the site are in relatively good condition and most of them are only 2 to 3 years old. Gov-auctions.org gives you the option of searching for the available cars, their prices and place of auction. You can sign up to their two-year membership then later upgrade to lifetime member.
governmentauctions .org
When you visit Governmentauctions.org for the first time, you are likely to be confused by how busy the site looks. However, beyond the looks, the site has a variety of offers on government auctions. Take a clicking tour around the site and you will discover the various listings available in all States. The downside is that only paid subscribers are able to see the full information of the listings. They however, have a 3-day free trial for newcomers who wish to view listings of government auctions, after which there is a $19.95 monthly subscription fee. The site has a great reputation and is highly recommended for government auction services. The platform has been in existence for about two decades and has managed to maintain its good business name. If you are looking to buy a vehicle or even real estate that has been abandoned, foreclosed or seized, then you should consider governmentauctions.org.

So, which one is better?

The only way to know this for sure is to visit both platforms. The needs of buyers vary, and so do their experiences. You can also look for comprehensive reviews of the sites from those who have used their services to give you an idea of what to expect.

The Honda Civic: The Most Iconic JDM Tuner Car in History

4/27/2021

Picture
In the last 5 decades, the Honda Civic has become the most iconic JDM tuner car in history. It’s the vehicle that has been tuned to perfection and has been the starting point to numerous race car builds. This article is all about the Honda Civic and the different tuner options available for this JDM icon.

A Brief History of the Honda Civic

You know about the Honda Civic because it’s considered one of the most popular cars in the whole world. It was developed in 1973 by combining the earlier S800 and S600 engines to form the CSX800. The car went on sale in the spring of 1974 and had many different engine options. In 1990, the Civic Type R was launched, where a version of the D2X engine was fitted. The car came out of the factory with the all important 2-pedal setup and the 5-speed manual transmission. The car’s design has been changed many times over the years, and when I say changed, I mean seriously changed. For a start, the original CT100 design was dropped for the CT100N (sometime between 1986 and 1989), the car’s front-end was a redesign and it was fitted with a more recent variant of the S13 engine, the CB20.

The Civic Hatchback

Picture
The Honda Civic Hatchback is a 2 door four-door hatchback. It was launched in 1975 and it’s the best selling compact sedan car of all time. There’s no question that this is the most iconic JDM car and there’s no reason to believe that it will be affected by the change in the market or by a change in the trend. The car has seen a multitude of different styles and has undergone a lot of changes over the years. The Tuner Options for the Civic Hatchback The Civic Hatchback is the quintessential hatchback of the JDM tuning scene. You can still get a Civic Hatchback today with a range of different styles, body styles and body kits.

The Civic Coupe

Picture
To start off, we are going to take a look at the first generation Civic Coupe which was first released in Japan in 1973. From the outset, the Civic Coupe was a huge success in Japan due to its engine downsizing which made it an excellent vehicle for tuners. In fact, the first generation Civic Coupe was tuners’ goldmine. The first time the car came into the spotlight was in 1974 when a civic coupe equipped with a Cosworth BDA 1.8-litre engine won the Nurburgring 24-hour endurance race which was then only the second time a Japanese car had won that famous race. The above picture was taken on November 8th, 2016 when Honda had its 40th anniversary celebrations at the Osaka Motor Show.

The Civic Type R

Picture
The Honda Civic Type R is the performance version of the ubiquitous Civic family. It’s the perfect car for a small compact hatchback with 1.8 litre engine making 306hp, and 400Nm of torque. It has been built for power and it also has the most comfortable and sporty cabin on the road. The Type R has got a lot of good build materials inside the car, including a Nappa leather interior, Recaro sport seats and upholstered door panels and center console. As for the performance, it’s also impressive with a top speed of 233km/h (143mph) and acceleration 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 5.8 seconds. The Type R is incredibly easy to drive, plus it can do over 250km/h (155mph). It has no option for manual transmission but a very economical 1.6L i-VTEC engine has been used to make its power.

Conclusion

Picture
The Honda Civic has been involved in so many different types of Japanese tuning and has been a driving force for Japanese car tuning. This article aims to showcase the best of the best of the Honda Civic tuner scene. This article will hopefully serve as a reference guide for the tuners who want to enter the JDM scene. Find more information on the tuner world and tuning as well as the stuff that goes on in Japan.

Gov-auctions.org Review

Gov-auction.org review
Anyone looking for a pre-owned car in the United States should definitely visit gov-auctions.org. The site has incredible deals on thousands of cars that are sold starting from as low as $100, with most vehicles being sold at almost 95% OFF. The best part is that the cars are at most three years old and in good condition, so you don't have to worry about the quality. It is the one-stop for very cheap and well-maintained vehicles in any state. The cars on gov-auctions.org are updated regularly, and there is a wide variety, over 4,000 cars, to choose from – this means that you have high chances of getting the type of car you are looking for.

While buying cars at auctions is a popular way to get good cars at great deals, buying a car from an auction can indeed be a little tricky, and you probably have some concerns. Here is a comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of buying cars at an auction that should help make your decision a little easier.

So, what are the Pros of buying your vehicle at an auction?

Picture
There are various reasons as to why an auction may be the best place to buy a pre-owned car. Here is a list of some of the significant advantages:

  • You will enjoy a wide selection.
Finding your desired car in a lot can be tedious, especially since you would have to go to several lots before you get something remotely close to your preferred make, color, model, and within your price range. There are also very high chances that you will waste a lot of time trying to avoid giving in greedy salespeople who will try to convince you to settle for a different car than the one you are looking for.

All of this can be avoided by choosing to buy at a car auction. Gov-auctions.org has a large number of vehicles from which you can make your selection. All vehicles are available for viewing online from wherever you may be or at the site on the auction date. It is very convenient and efficient. There are very high chances that you will find a car that is close to or even better than what you are looking for because of the large number of vehicles turn over at the auction with constant replenishing.

  • You will enjoy great deals.
Car dealers are usually aware of the available bargains when buying cars at auctions, but they keep the information to themselves to sell cars at a higher price. Government auctions such as gov-auctions.org make it possible for buyers to access vehicles at significantly discounted prices. This is definitely a reason to check out the site whenever you are looking to buy a car.

Auctions on gov-auctions.org consist of repossessed vehicles and fleet vehicles, and both are great bargains at auctions. For fleet vehicles, this is so because most government cars are well-driven, regularly serviced following specifications from the manufactures. You will also find that these cars will come with all the documentation. Some of these vehicles have a higher than expected mileage, but they still have great value; they are written down and replaced by new ones after two to three years.

The government auction offers them to the general public at a price that is way lower than their book value. Repossessed vehicles at the auctions are usually new or close to new and are sold because of the default of repayment by owners but not because they have structural or mechanical problems. These vehicles are in good condition, and the sale is a way for the firms to minimize their losses. Buying these vehicles is, therefore, a great way to make significant savings.

  • Buying a car at an auction is easy and fast.
All that is required of you is to do a little research on the vehicle you are looking for; otherwise, buying a car at an auction is a straightforward, straightforward, and speedy process. You can use gov-auctions.org to find your ideal vehicle and locate an auction where you can find it being sold. Catalogs from different auction houses are available online before the day of the auction showing the latest available vehicles and other essential specifications such as the condition, make, year, model, and mileage. This information is all you need to be prepared for the auctions.

On the auction day, all you have to do is attend with enough money to buy the vehicle if yours is the winning bid. There is no pressure of dealing with salespeople who can sometimes be misleading.  You have the option of bringing someone to help you with the mechanical inspection of the vehicle at the site.

Now, let’s look at the Cons of buying a vehicle at an auction.

Picture
  • A test drive is not a guarantee
This is one of the disadvantages of car auctions. More often than not, you will not be able to take the vehicle for a test drive before buying it. The looks and records of a car say a lot about it, but it is still a risk to buy a car that you haven't driven. It is, however, relieving to note that some auctions let successful bidders take the vehicle for a test drive and allow the option of pulling the deal out if the vehicle is found to have major faults that would affect its performance.

It is also worth noting that most auctions listed on gov-auctions.org allow a cursory inspection of the vehicle you have chosen before the auction; this is why you need to go with someone who is good at inspecting the mechanical capabilities of a vehicle. During this inspection, you should look at the engine's condition – whether it is clean, inspect for oil leaks, whether the hoses and belts are in good condition, and do a dipstick check to see how recently the car oil was changed. You should also look at the car's bodywork – is the trunk rusty? Are there signs of recent paint to show recent work on the body? What is the condition of the wheels? Are there welding marks that could be a result of an accident? You should also inspect the chassis, worn tires, and door jambs.

  • The fear that there is no warranty on auction cars – Is this true, though?
Well, unlike what most people believe, sites for online auction, such as gov-auctions.Org and auction centers have a warranty offer of 3-months or a guarantee for the same period at no charge. There is also an option to purchase a warranty extension at a small cost from the source. As mentioned above, most fleet cars are usually auctioned when they are new or near new; this means there are high chances that the manufacturer's warranty is still valid at the time of purchase. These vehicles also get regular service reducing the risk of significant problems compared to buying an older vehicle.

  • Unclear background of the cars at auctions
It is true that some auctions, especially those with a bad reputation, sell cars illegally, but most auction centers are legally responsible for checking that there is no debt owed on the cars they are selling. It is also effortless to check up a car's history nowadays. Auction houses give prospective buyers a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) report for free.

The VIN on the windshield on the passenger’s side must be the same as the one in the engine bay. Registration documents should be availed to show the replacement of any major car parts. This is not an issue of concern when buying a fleet vehicle on a government auction, as seen on gov-auctions.org reviews, because all the vehicles listed have complete documentation of their history. Online checks for a vehicle's history are available at a small cost.

Still unsure whether buying a car at an auction is a good idea?

Picture
Anyone can buy a vehicle at a car auction. The variety of models makes and the different price ranges can suit people’s needs and budgets. All you need to do is do your research before the auction date and make sure you are well-equipped to do the mechanical inspection or bring an 'expert' with you.

Did you know that some cast members of the Fast and Furious Series actually bought cars at auctions? That's right! The series best known for spectacular cars and dramatic scenes of real customized, fully built cars being thrown out of a cargo plane became a worldwide hit, and we are still talking about it today. Movie star Vin Diesel, who played Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious, bought his first car- a 1978 Monte Carlo- at an auction in New York City for $175.

While his experience was not exactly pleasant, times have changed, and you can now inspect the car engine after winning the bid. There are great platforms that are available to facilitate the auction of genuine cars; there are many great testimonials and excellent gov-auctions.org reviews to show that legit and trustworthy auctions exist in the present day.

Why you should check out gov-auctions.org

Picture
If you are considering buying a car in the United States, you should consider checking out gov-auctions.org reviews. This is especially useful if you are not looking for a new car. If you have a tight budget and you need a great deal, this is the place to find your next car. Government auctions are safe, with thousands of options to choose from. There is a wide variety of prestigious brands such as Lexus, BMW, Chrysler, and Honda. You can find these cars at very affordable prices from as low as $200. All these cars are availed to the general public whenever the government does not find a use for them.

Buying at a government auction minimizes the chances of buying problematic cars with faulty engines or in generally bad conditions because the cars are well-maintained. Unlike car some private car dealers, the government auctions are straightforward, and all proper documentation is readily available. The reviews on gov-auctions.org are positive, and they show how many people have purchased cars of excellent quality at affordable prices that saved them a lot of money. Some even bought the cars at great deals and sold them later at a profit. With almost 95% OFF the vehicle's book value, auctions listed on gov-auctions.org have become increasingly popular as more people discover the fantastic deals.

The combination of good quality, excellent condition, regular serviced vehicles, and proper documentation is all the confidence you need to jump onto government auctions for your next pre-owned car. It will save you a great deal of money. If you are looking to buy your son or daughter their first car, you should visit gov-auctions.org. All you need to do is look for available auctions offering the model that you are interested in, do your research about them and settle for the best deal in terms of quality within your budget. When bidding, ensure that you remain within your set budget to avoid going over even in the hit of the moment. The goal is to save by getting a great ride at the lowest price possible.

So, go on and head to the gov-auctions.org site, check out the reviews and get to choose your next ride from the thousands that are listed on the site for auction. I hope you find an incredible deal, and once you do, make sure to leave a great gov-auctions.org review to help someone else confidently buy a car from the auctions.

Technological innovation, safety improvements, and product enhancements have made Japanese cars to be popular and respectable. Everyone wants to be associated with high-quality vehicles. The passion and devotion to Japanese cars run deep in the veins of JDM enthusiasts. The JDM culture is way more than just a hobby, but it is considered a lifestyle that comes with an eternal pursuit for perfection. Unlike most people believe, JDM car enthusiasts are not merely excited by spinning, the bulky body kits or rims that are chrome-plated. Rather, the culture revolves around the philosophy of modification of the machines without compromising the vehicle's original design to bring out the car's beauty and maximum performance. It is this aspect of JDM that makes it a unique and highly sort after culture. It takes the incorporation of large amounts of funds, thoughts, and definitely a lot of time to turn the shell of a car that has been produced in large numbers into a machine with enhanced performance and uniquely built – this is the heart of the JDM car culture.

One prominent characteristic of this particular community is their notable trends, which is expected, seeing as JDM car enthusiasts have undebatable love for technological innovation and would not want to be left out. It is almost obvious for a large part, if not all, of the community to seek after and embraced new popular trends. A good example is the use of cryptocurrency to pay for JDM products and services with companies such as L’Operaio, a Japanese luxury car dealership, accepting Bitcoin as a payment option for their products through bitFlyer- their Tokyo-based digital wallet. And Carriage Nissan, a Nissan dealership in Atlanta, Georgia, accepts payment through Bitcoin for their new Nissan cars. The JDM culture community is a trend chaser of anything that adds value to their shared love for JDM cars. Right now, there is a new trend, and I am going to tell you all about it in this article.
