The Dallas Hip-Hop Dance Fest

DHDF in full the Dallas Hip-Hop Dance Festival is the new thing for hip hop dancers. It provides a platform for any hip hop dancer despite their age. It is a representation of all types and forms of hip hop that have been originally found and established. The DHDF has a vision; it is aiming at creating the experience that both spectators and dancers will never forget. They intend, on that weekend, to inspire, educate and show off both established and growing talent and they are specifically targeting the Southwest. It is the first ever such platform in the Dallas and they hope to enrich everyone present and give them a positive experience.
They have made open their festival to crews, studios, companies and anyone else from within the south. The weekend entails a workshop, battle, competition and showcase. They have narrowed down the very broad hip hop genre and are specifically working on improving the side of hip hop dance that is more realistic and positive.
The master class is one of the series of events that have been organized to take place before the festival as a way of getting ready for the big thing. This class has been placed under the very able and super talented Tricia Miranda; she performed as Missy in the Super Bowl show. This female artist has built quite a name for herself. She started training at 4!!In 2001 in Los Angeles, Tricia made her great talent known and she soon became the new thing whenever anyone was talking about great female hip hop dancers. She has danced for many great artists including Beyoncé, Usher, Neyo, and Jay-z among many others.
Then there is the Battle which will be held sometime before the big event. Those who are interested have been advised to keep checking DHDF Facebook page and website for updates. The venue is the Holiday Inn Park Cities in Dallas. The winners will walk away with trophies and cash prizes. There will be an entry fee of $20 for those who would wish to battle and $10 for the spectators.
There is a DHDF workshop where great choreographers such as Dejan Tubic, Sean Bankhead, Luam and their very own Keith Clark come in to train the participants. The 2015 DHDF is expected, as their tradition dictates, to select around seven dancers that will showcase their choreography at the show. The 2015 faculty consists of Sean Bankhead, Lisette Bustamante, Chonique Sneed, Jenny Durbin Smith and Robert Hernandez.

Then there is the show where the best two crews become DHDF champions of the year. It took place at Majestic Theatre in Dallas.
DHDF has cool collections that say a lot about what they do and it screams positive hip hop. The triple D B-boy is one awesome one. It goes really well on someone who loves sophistication. Having known so much about JDM culture, this one honestly goes well for JDM enthusiasts. A cool look and a highly modified cool car equals to a cool guy.

THE 2015 SEMA SHOW

2/8/2021

Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has been in existence since 1993 thanks to people like Roy Richter, Bob Hedman, Phil Weiand and a few others. Currently, it consists of about six thousand three hundred and eighty companies from all over the world. It brings together aftermarket manufacturers, OEM -original equipment manufacturers, car dealers, media, equipment distributors, retailers, restoration specialists and installers.
The SEMA show is usually held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is the Association’s largest event. This annually held show is one of the largest shows that happen in Vegas in terms of the numbers that turn up for the event. There are usually about twelve sections for the displays; those who attend are provided with educational seminars, networking opportunities, product demonstrations, special events and so much more.
Each year, the show becomes better than the previous year’s. The recently held 2015 SEMA show proved to be the worldwide premier trade event for specialty automotive products. It brought the brightest minds in the automotive industry as well as the best products together in one place. The show attracted over one hundred thousand leaders of industries from about one hundred countries in different parts of the world. It provided them with unlimited opportunities to make profit in different markets, these markets include; the automotive markets, Sport Utility Vehicle(SUV) and truck market, Recreational Vehicle (RV) market and powersports.
There were very many attendees at the convention. Reliable sources reported that there were roughly slightly more than sixty thousand international and domestic buyers present at the event. This was the place where you could find all the people who love flashy cars as well as models that have been highly modified beyond recognition. I am talking about such cars like the ‘Rusty Slammington’_ (the name clearly suggests a lot) by Stanceworks which is a BMW 5-Series E28 with a rat-rod style.
Various car manufacturers refused to be left behind, they tried their best to impress those present with out-of-the-world conceptual car builds. There were very interesting vehicle with the All-wheel drive Challenger by Dodge, Ultimate Utility Vehicle by Toyota and MX-5 Speedster models from Mazda being among the very outstanding ones.

As usual, the event was not made open to the general public but was maintained as a trade-only event. Those who were lucky to participate had to have registered themselves as manufacturers, media, exhibitor or buyer.
