DHDF in full the Dallas Hip-Hop Dance Festival is the new thing for hip hop dancers. It provides a platform for any hip hop dancer despite their age. It is a representation of all types and forms of hip hop that have been originally found and established. The DHDF has a vision; it is aiming at creating the experience that both spectators and dancers will never forget. They intend, on that weekend, to inspire, educate and show off both established and growing talent and they are specifically targeting the Southwest. It is the first ever such platform in the Dallas and they hope to enrich everyone present and give them a positive experience. They have made open their festival to crews, studios, companies and anyone else from within the south. The weekend entails a workshop, battle, competition and showcase. They have narrowed down the very broad hip hop genre and are specifically working on improving the side of hip hop dance that is more realistic and positive. The master class is one of the series of events that have been organized to take place before the festival as a way of getting ready for the big thing. This class has been placed under the very able and super talented Tricia Miranda; she performed as Missy in the Super Bowl show. This female artist has built quite a name for herself. She started training at 4!!In 2001 in Los Angeles, Tricia made her great talent known and she soon became the new thing whenever anyone was talking about great female hip hop dancers. She has danced for many great artists including Beyoncé, Usher, Neyo, and Jay-z among many others. Then there is the Battle which will be held sometime before the big event. Those who are interested have been advised to keep checking DHDF Facebook page and website for updates. The venue is the Holiday Inn Park Cities in Dallas. The winners will walk away with trophies and cash prizes. There will be an entry fee of $20 for those who would wish to battle and $10 for the spectators. There is a DHDF workshop where great choreographers such as Dejan Tubic, Sean Bankhead, Luam and their very own Keith Clark come in to train the participants. The 2015 DHDF is expected, as their tradition dictates, to select around seven dancers that will showcase their choreography at the show. The 2015 faculty consists of Sean Bankhead, Lisette Bustamante, Chonique Sneed, Jenny Durbin Smith and Robert Hernandez. Then there is the show where the best two crews become DHDF champions of the year. It took place at Majestic Theatre in Dallas. DHDF has cool collections that say a lot about what they do and it screams positive hip hop. The triple D B-boy is one awesome one. It goes really well on someone who loves sophistication. Having known so much about JDM culture, this one honestly goes well for JDM enthusiasts. A cool look and a highly modified cool car equals to a cool guy.
